2007 News to date
Well, where do I start? To say the past few
months have been exciting would be the understatement
of the year! It's been memorable for a number
of reasons, not least for our debut single
on the World renowned Defected Records but
also for mega gigs in Switzerland, Shanghai,
Kuala Lumpa and Singapore.
Production
Back in Miami 2005, we realised we wanted
to shift the'Audiowhores sound' and evolve
into something a bit edgier, deeper and ultimately
more playable on today's club circuit. After
2 years of hard graft we've finally hit on
a vibe and we're really enjoying ourselves
again! Our collaboration with Roland Clark
on Defected, "I'm Inspired" is the
first fruit of our labour; we hope you enjoy
it! Don't forget to check the Club Mix, which
uses less of Roland's poetic magic, but really
captures the moment in those dark, main room
clubs. We're currently beavering away on a
couple follow up singles which we hope are
destined for Mr Dunmore……watch this
space.
Gigs
Back in January, we flew out to Switzerland
for our first gig of the year at Atlantis
in Basel, who has recently hosted other international
guests including Copyright, Jamie Lewis and
Liquid People. Before the gig the manager
took us for a wonder round the club which
came across a small 'olde worlde', beautiful
and quaint restaurant/bar. Couples were eating
posh food over candle light, whilst gentle
background music filled the air!! However,
on closer inspection we noticed heavy bass
cabinets scattered around the edges of the
space and an elaborate lighting rig hanging
from exposed wooden roof beams. We ate and
then disappeared for a beer with our Swiss
mate, Mirco. We arrived back at the club at
about 12.30 and couldn't believe the transformation.
There was a queue at the door 10 people deep
and club was already heaving! We are usually
very self critical, but once we got going
there seemed to be a real flow about our set………….that
said, the vodka was certainly flowing which
may have had something to do with it! Top
gig, hope to get back soon.
Our next trip abroad was more of a tour than
a one off gig! We did three dates spread over
three countries, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpa and
Singapore and can honestly say they were the
best three gigs we've done in a very long
time…..great clubs, monstrous sound and
lighting, wonderful hospitality and professionalism
throughout and most of all, up-for-it crowds!
I could talk about it all day, but rather
than chirp on about it why not check our feature
length video (and photo gallery), edited by
our very own Graham Lord which features the
highlights along with some pretty tasty, exclusive
backing music. We'd like to thank everybody
who helped put the trip together and all those
people we met on the way who made it such
fun (acceptance speech style) including MN2S,
Charlie Chester, Tony, Jon White, Daniel,
Monique, and all at Attica Shanghai &
Singapore, Tim and all at Passion Kuala Lumpur
including Doug the Doctor and the infamous
after party, Marius at Mint Shanghai and anybody
we may have forgotten. We are already looking
at tying up our return trip……ace!
Our schedule over the next quarter is much
closer to home and opens the door for a real
catch up in the studio…….especially
seeing as we've just invested in a new PC,
yeah!! Will keep you informed.

Yes
yes ya'll, to the beat ya'll! Ermm sorry where
did that come from? As you can probably tell
we're quite excited to have our 1st release
coming soon on the mighty UK label, Defected
Records, this has been a personal goal of
ours ever since we started producing house
music together, so a big pat on the back is
needed. The track entitled "I'm Inspired"
which features a deep & moving spoken
word from Roland Clark will be promoted around
the Miami WMC. I played the club mix at Angeldeelite
on friday night and it sounded fantastic (1st
time ive heard it on a big system too!)
After a short break over the winter period
our label Tempogroove has a few things lined
up for the 1st quater of 2007. Coming 1st
will be a track we snapped up last year from
a couple of talented producers called Paulo
& Rodriguez. Their debut on Tempogroove
called "Oh Mama" will feature 2
mixes from the producers and a remix from
Sheffields finest, Groove Assassin. Also dropping
shortly after that would be the Cookie Monsterz
follow up to their EP (which is massive over
in Japan at the moment) on Tempogroove called
"Your Love". We've been waiting
almost 1 year to get this track out! So it
will be hear shortly! Watch this space....
No updates to the site at the moment but check
